Online Game (MMO) Server Developer

Dark Matter Entertainment has an immediate opening for an experienced programmer for an on-site, one-year contract position.
You are an experienced developer, familiar with current technologies and trends in online games.  You are adept at either client- or server- side development, or maybe a bit of both.  You are good at working in a small team, and an agile environment.  You get stuff done.

Required:
> Development experience with real-time multi-player environments
> Development experience with SQL databases
> Java programming experience
> Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross-disciplinary team
> Self-starter

Pluses:
> Experience with any or all of the following would be beneficial:  MySQL, SmartfoxServer, Terracotta, Amazon EC2, PHP.

> C# programming experience
> Game development experience
> Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross-disciplinary team
> Self-starter

> Pluses:
> Unity3D tools and build pipeline development, including AssetBundles
> Experience with animation systems
> Experience with social networking integration
